Someone was selling this "not working" on eBay for $30 but it was easy to see it was repairable. This is *not* the famous device Shirriff reverse engineered but a fancier programmable version. I used to have one as a kid but it died on me.

It's as accurate as a slide rule. The display shows the result of computing exp(1).

When Black people seek reparations for centuries of genocide, slavery, & Jim Crow they’re told stop asking for handouts

When I, a non-Black person, demand reparations for Black people I’m called “Sand N*gger” & told “Go back where you came from.”

But when Ashli Babbit’s family demands reparations for her being killed while violently insurrecting, they’re given $30M in taxpayer money & an apology

Black people and Native Americans don't need reparations from their oppressors (as if they'll ever give us any meaningful amount of reparations). We need freedom from them. Black and Native people of America are colonized people, Black people having been dragged into and forced to live in the American Empire, and Natives having it built on top of their heads. No amount of reparations will justify that.
